Dear board,
The recent discussion of the tech side of things is beginning to get into exactly the details I need. I'm currently instructing myself from square one regarding Tibetan font and word processing. Are there any reliable and relatively current postings that could guide me through software installation up to my first successful usage of the respective programs. My PC is about seven years old, Pentium III, 128mg RAM, 3(!)GB with 1.06GB free. I've tried to plod through this myself (mind you, I have little or no free resources to spend, that is of course unless my results can be guaranteed). However, I'd like to get started right away if cash isn't the deciding factor.
If I may please ask also, are the scans available for the rNying-ma rgyud-'bum from TBRC of better quality than those available from THDL?
