Dear friends,
I am writing on behalf of a Tibetan friend who would like to be able to interpret and translate Dharma teachings into English. He is quite fluent in colloquial English, having been educated at the Children's Village in Dharamsala and lived in India for a number of years.
Now, however, he lives in Tibet, where access to learning Dharmic English is more limited. My question is, what Tibetan-English dictionary and self-teaching materials would group members recommend to such a person? I think hard copy books and materials would be preferable to those online, since in Tibet the internet connections are often slower and more problematic than in the rest of the world, as well as relatively more expensive, but suggestions for both are welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Konchog Dorje
